seigaku regulars arrive - part 1

Know this boy? Ever seen him before?

Left-handed prodigy.

Yep. His name is Echizen Ryoma and he was the main character in the popular Japanese shōnen manga series Prince of Tennis written and illustrated by Takeshi Konomi and was adapted into an anime series directed by Takayuki Hamana. I kinda love seeing those anime so I intended to do something about this character - Ryoma-kun.

gonzo the series

It's been awhile - maybe a long time since I drew and upload some of my comics. Suddenly, I remembered one of the best comic I've ever drawn - Gonzo : The Grey. Its about a rabbit which was making his daily bread from underground - an underground fighting community. Gonzo was at the top by then - winning the "World Championship" title.

1st part of Gonzo series happens during world championship title match between Gonzo and Spartov the Brute where Gonzo barely wins.

2nd part was named Gonzo II : Revenge from the East. In this series, Gonzo was attacked by 3 ninjas claiming that they come to take revenge for their master that they claimed to be killed by Gonzo. Gonzo was nearly killed when suddenly the 3 ninjas were attacked by another fighter - Lei who was the practitioner of the Tumbukan Naga Berapi (literally, Fist of the Fire Dragon). Just before Lei could finish off Gonzo with the Level 7 Fist of the Fire Dragon, Gonzo was saved by Cristy - Gonzo's friend (i prefer girlfriend). Then Lei let go of Gonzo and challenge Gonzo for a duel 7 months later.

The 3rd part was the duel between Gonzo and Lei. It happened 7 months after the Gonzo II series. Lei nearly beat Gonzo before the Fist of the Fire Dragon was dodged by Gonzo. Gonzo finished the duel with its own finishing move - Tendangan Harimau (literally, Tiger Kick) level 10. Lei was shocked but its too late for Lei to realize the true power of Gonzo.

tsuka - updated!

Now that I've updated my tsuka (literally, handle) so I decided to uploaded a few more pictures. It's been awhile since I post something on this blog. It is because I was exploring new things about art of paper craft.

Then, I intended to make my own paper model. Now I'm gathering some information about this paper craft so that I can create my own style but it is still in the process.

I've been doing my tsuka (literally, handle). It was easy part of the zanpakuto. Whoaa! Few more steps to complete my own zanpakuto. I'll upload the pictures later. ^^

Finally I've done doing my tsuba (literally, guard). It was an awesome experience doing such thing. Although it wasn't look so great but I feel it is nice. Whoaa!

After some research and discussion with the unique key holder, finally I came out with this name for my zanpakutō - Genshirenka (literally, Love Poem). Zanpakutō is unique: as the swords are both reflections of a Shinigami's soul and power, and sentient beings unto themselves. So, it's look nice and suitable for me as it reflects my passion for poems so much. The Zanpakutō's name is also the name of the living spirit that empowers the sword and lends its strength to the Shinigami who wields it.

Shikai can be performed at will simply by speaking a command followed by the Zanpakutō's name. The commands vary between users and range from a simple imperative verb to a short poem. They often relate to the Zanpakutō's signature ability, or hint at the nature of its spirit. So I generate some release command for my Zanpakutō and it's - Saezuru (literally, Sing!)

Shikai Forms: Once the Shikai is activated, the Zanpakutō will change form to access whatever special abilities it is capable of. They almost always take on the form of a weapon of some kind, though the type of weapon can vary greatly among different Zanpakutō. For my Zanpakutō, it's Shikai form would be dual combat knives. Both knives are black butt I still have to modify a little on this Shikai form.

Special Abilities: Once the Shikai is activated, the Zanpakutō will change form to access whatever special abilities it is capable of. The special abilities of the Zanpakutō, like the Zanpakutō itself, have specific names that usually must be announced to fully activate the effect. My Shikai abilities is increase it's wielders speed and accuracy which is good for close-range combat/fights.




Unlike the Shikai, there is no command phrase to activate Bankai, though the user will usually say "Bankai" beforehand. A Zanpakutō's Bankai is often a manifestation of the spirit itself, usually creating a massive creature or a very powerful effect to aid the user in battle. The Bankai itself will receive a different name in addition to the ordinary Zanpakutō. So, the name of my Bankai would be Kyokuchou Genshirenka no Tenma (literally, Memory of Demon's Love Poem). Whoaa! Nice!

Certain Shinigami also change with their Zanpakutō, gaining clothing similar to what their Zanpakutō's spirit form looks like. Most Zanpakutō will also gain additional special abilities, or a more enhanced version of the usual one.

Special Abilities: The power that comes with Bankai tends to be similar to the Shikai's ability/theme, but amplifies it to much greater levels of power and effect. So, I guess my Bankai abilities would be enhance it's wielders speed and accuracy 10 times than usual and additional/secret ability is when the knifes collide with each other it will create sounds that put everyone/someone picked by the wielder to sleep. Slowly they lost their reiatsu while they sleep and finally die.

Zanpakutō Type : I prefer this Zanpakutō as melee-tpye Zanpakutō which are typically designed for various forms of armed melee combat rather than magic-based abilities.


Zanpakutō Name : Genshirenka

Just a few hours after I post about making my own Zanpakutō and now I've just finished designing my Zanpakutō's guard which is also known as Tsuba.

A Zanpakutō (literally, soul-cutter sword) is the main weapon of the Shinigami, the Arrancar and the Visored. The art of wielding a Zanpakutō is called Zanjutsu (literally, swordsmanship)

I was watching the anime - Bleach and I was wondering if I can make my own zanpakutō. So, I start with some names and release command

• Howl! Silent Wolf
• Shine, Ray of the Demon
• Laugh Out Loud! Darkness Smile
• Arise! Thousand Ghost
• Talk! Voiceless Words

After coming up with some names, I tried to translate them into Japanese which I found out very funny.

not so golden key
just simple unique key
a key to the place
no one else know

I wanted to give the key
to a girl
and show her the way
to the unpredictable place

but there she was
standing on the path
in front of the door
but she didn't step in
and left the key there

then I walked
with the key in my hand
with sorrow around me
with the birds singing
and the sound keep fading

I bumped into a girl
I showed her the unique key
but I didn't tell her
about the place leads by the key
well, she also left me. alone

again. I was alone.
walking on the path of sorrow
with the key in my hand
and rain follows my path
weak. numb. cold

and there
a girl stands in front
smiled at me
I smiled back and thought
"this girl is different"

really differ from before
from the way and what she speaks
from what she wear and what she ate
and I look at the key in my hand
"should I give her this key?"

later I gave her
the unique key
to the place I called heart
immediately she enters
the unpredictable place

and in there she was
for a moment
not for long
but I want her to be there always
till death do us part

now
she holds the key
and filling the place with memories
of sweet and sour even bitter
made me smiles and cries

but one day
she wanted to give back the key
she can't fill and give the place anything. anymore.
just left the place with memories
for me to remember.

at the dawn of exam here I am making new blog just to fill in my interest on one subject that is so hard to explain and hard to predict - ART.

not a subject actually but it's kinda special talent to do such act called ART. according to wikipedia - art is the product or process of deliberately arranging symbolic elements in a way that influences and affects the senses, emotions, and/or intellect.

it encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music, literature, film, photography, sculpture, and paintings.

traditionally, the term art was used to refer to any skill or mastery. this conception changed during the romantic period, when art came to be seen as "a special faculty of the human mind to be classified with religion and science".

Generally, art is made with the intention of stimulating thoughts and emotions.
